Living a life of gratitude is of the greatest importance in realizing our calling and destiny on this earth.
Rejoicing is a way of life taught by our Great Rabbi Yeshua. In fact, even the apostles & disciples taught trusting & rejoicing in all things, even in the trials & hardships of life;
“Meanwhile, through trusting, you are being protected by God’s power for a deliverance ready to be revealed at the Last Time. Rejoice in this! Even though for a little while you may have to experience grief in various trials. Even gold is tested for genuineness by fire. The purpose of these trials is so that your trust’s genuineness, which is far more valuable than perishable gold, will be judged worthy of praise, glory & honor at the revealing of Yeshua the Messiah.” 1 1 Peter 1:5-7
All Good Gifts Come From Above
It is clear that gratitude by way of rejoicing & giving thanks for all circumstances is in fact part of the indicator that we are traveling on the narrow road that leads to life. Rejoicing & being grateful are important Keys to unlocking the doors of destiny. All good gifts come from above, from the Father of Heavenly lights (James 1:17). True Joy comes from above in the gladness of our hearts before the Lord.
When we give thanks over the little things & are in a posture of gratitude before The Lord, He LOVES to increase our portion. We can see this in operation in the miracle of multiplication when Yeshua fed the 5,000. They had a tiny amount that would appear to only feed some, but they gave thanks over what they had & miraculously it was multiplied supernaturally to feed all 5,000!
The Joy of The Lord
Gratitude opens the door to Joy. Joy is not only contagious & a blessed way to love, it is also a mighty weapon against our adversary. The Joy of The Lord is our strength! ( Nehemiah 8:10 ).
Whatever your circumstances are this Thanksgiving I want to encourage you to give thanks! It is the faith & gratitude over the small things, and the things yet unseen that open the door of Hope to a greater Glory being manifested in your life.
Happy Thanksgiving!
